Materials

♥ Crochet Hook: 3.5 mm,
♥ Yarn (You can use Macrame Cord T-shirt Yarn or choose yarn weight and hook size they take to achieve the desired gauge),
♥ scissors.

A, B = Color A, B; mc = magic circle; ch(s) = chain(s); st(s) = stitch(es); sl st =slip stitch; hdc = half double crochet; dc = double crochet; tr = treble crochet; [ ] = work directions in brackets the number of times specified.

Notes

♥ The bag is crocheted in round.
♥ Each round you will work sts into the 3rd hidden loop.
♥ The 3rd hidden loop will be placed at the back of the work,under the back loop of stitches.

Instructions

Bag Faces

With A, mc, ch 20,
Round 1: ch3, 2 dc in 4 th ch from hook, dc 5, hdc, sc, sl st, skip 3 ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc 5, 6 dc in mc, turn sideways and continue along other side of the foundation ch, in remaining loop of each ch, dc 9, 3 dc in 1 st, dc 9, 3 dc in 1 st, sl st to join.
Round 2: ch3, dc in the same st of previous sl st, [2 dc in 1 st] 2 times, dc 3, hdc, sc, slst, slst in top of next hdc, sc, hdc, dc 3, [2 dc in 1 st] 6 times, dc 9, 2 dc in 1 st, 3 dc in 1 st, 2 dc in 1 st, dc 9, [2 dc in 1 st] 3 times, sl st to join.
Round 3: ch3, [2 dc in 1 st, dc] 3 times, hdc, sc, slst, slst in top of 7 times, dc 11, 3 dc in 1 st, dc 10, [dc, 2 dc in 1 st] 4 times, sl st to join.
Round 4: ch3, [dc, 2 dc in 1 st, dc] 2 times, dc, hdc, sc, slst, slst in top of next hdc, sc, hdc, [dc 2, 2 dc in 1 st] 6 times, dc 12, 2 dc in 1 st, 3 dc in 1 st, 2 dc in 1 st, dc 10, [dc 2, 2 dc in 1 st] 4 times, sl st to join.
Round 5: ch3, [dc 2, 2 dc in 1 st] 2 times, dc, hdc, sc, slst, slst in top of next hdc, sc, hdc, dc, 2 dc in 1 st, [dc 2, 2 dc in 1 st, dc 1] 5 times, dc 15, 3 dc in 1 st, dc 12, [dc 3, 2 dc in 1 st] 4 times, sl st to join.
After making the second face, you have to attach it to the first one with sl st from the point 1 to the next point as indicated in the 4 th chart.

Bag Handle

For the bag handle with the two hearts, make ch 30, make first heart then the second heart as described below, make ch 115, sl st in the 1st sl st in the other side of the bag

First Heart

Round 1: 2 tr in 6th ch from hook, 1 dc & 1 hdc in next ch, sc, slst, turn sideways and continue along other side in remaining loop of each ch, sc, 1 hdc & 1 dc in 1 st, 2 tr in 1 st, ch 4, sl st in tr st to join.
Round 2: ch 5, sc in 5th ch in previous round, [2 hdc in 1 st] 2 times, sc 2, sl st 3, sc 2, 2 hdc in 1 st] 2 times, sc, ch 4, sl st in 1 st ch of ch5 to join.

Second Heart

Round 1: ch 14, 2 dc in 5th ch from hook, 1 hdc &1 sc in next ch, 1 sl st, turn sideways and continue along other side in remaining loop of each ch, 1 sc &1 hdc in 1 st, 2 dc in 1 st, ch 3, sl st in same st of the previous dc.
