How to Crochet Half Solid Hexagons

These are crochet patterns for half solid hexagons made using tapestry crochet.
These patterns can be used in edges (zig-zag or half hexagons) of a hexagon blanket to straighten them out. By adding these half hexagons, the hexagon blanket will be a perfect rectangle. These patterns were designed specifically for the Diamond Blanket. Have fun!

Notes

1. You can use any type of yarn to crochet a half hexagon. Just check the label to see what size hook corresponds with the weight of your yarn.

2. You have to use two colors (A and B) to crochet a half hexagon. On each row V stitches are crocheted with color A and dc stitches with color B. Check out 4th section of this post to learn how to switch colors

3. This design is easily adaptable for different colors and different dimensions.
