ORIGINAL Granny Triangle Free Crochet Pattern



Here is my own creation ORIGINAL Granny Triangle Free Crochet Pattern. I added two of this beautiful triangle to my granny square cardigan. It's the half of the square used in the cardigan. This crochet triangle is not only beautiful but also simple and easy to make. It consists of only six rounds, made with a variety of basic stitches.

Materials

♥ Yarn of your choice,
♥ Hook to match your yarn,
♥ Scissors,

Stitches

Abbreviations

st(s) = stitch(es); mc= magic circle; sl st = slip stitch; ch(s) = chain(s); sc = single crochet; dc = double crochet; tr = treble crochet; mm = millimeters; cm = centimeters; g= gram; [ ] = work directions in brackets the number of times specified.

Special Stitches

Shell = = 2-3-2 dc shell = (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in the same stich.

Written instructions

The pattern is written without color changes, but you can change color as you like.
Make mc,
Row 1: ch 5, shell, ch, tr.
Work in ch-spaces.
Row 2: turn, ch 2, sc, ch 2, (sc, ch 2, sc) in same ch-space, ch 2, sc, ch, sc in 4th ch.
Row 3: turn, ch 5, [2 dc, ch] twice, shell, [ch, 2 dc] twice, ch, tr in 1st ch.
Row 4: turn, ch 2, [sc, ch 2] 3 times, (sc, ch 2, sc) in same ch-space, [ch 2, sc] 3 times, ch, sc in 4th ch.
Row 5: turn, ch 5, [2 dc, ch] 4 times, shell, [ch, 2 dc] 4 times, ch, tr in 1st ch.
Row 6: turn, ch 2, [sc, ch 2] 5 times, (sc, ch, sc) in same ch-space, [ch 2, sc] 5 times, ch, sc in 4th ch.
