Size

The bag size is about 29 cm long, 14 cm wide and 25 cm deep.

Gauge

12 stitches and 6 rows = 4 inches in dc.

Materials

♥ Crochet Hook: 3.5 mm,
♥ Yarn (You can use Macrame Cord T-shirt Yarn or choose yarn weight and hook size they take to achieve the desired gauge),
♥ Zipper: 25 cm,
♥ Lobster clasp: 4,
♥ D rings: 6,
♥ Yarn needle,
♥ scissors.

Stitch

Abbreviations

A, B = Color A, B; mc = magic circle; ch(s) = chain(s); st(s) = stitch(es); sl st =slip stitch ; sc = single crochet; hdc = half double crochet; dc = double crochet; [ ] = work directions in brackets the number of times specified; ()*: repeat directions in parentheses the number of times specified.

Special Stitch

FPdc (Front Post double crochet): Yarn over, wind hook in and out of the indicated st (from front to back between the posts of the indicated st and the previous one of the row below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the indicated st and the following one).
Then work your dc like normal.

Note

♥ Dc, hdc and sc are worked in back loops only (blo).

Instructions

Base of the bag

With A, mc, ch 19 (mc is counted as a ch),
Round 1: ch 3, dc in the 4th ch from hook and in the next 18 chs, 8 dc in mc, turn sideways and continue along other side of the foundation ch, dc in remaining loop of each of next 18 chs,6 dc in the last ch, join with sl st in top of turning ch3.
Round 2: ch 3, dc 20, [2 dc in 1 st] 6 times, dc 20, [2 dc in 1 st] 5 times, dc in the same stitch as the first ch3, join with sl st in top of turning ch3.
Round 3: ch 3, dc 21, [2 dc in 1 st, dc] 2 times, [2 hdc in 1 st] 2 times, [dc, 2 dc in 1 st] 2 times, dc 22, [2 dc in 1 st, dc] 2 times, [2 hdc in 1 st] 2 times, [dc, 2 dc in 1 st] 2 times, join with sl st in top of turning ch3.

Round 5: ch 1, sc in each st to end of round (83 scs).

Note: change color for round 27 and follow the following tutorial to join the last st to the first one to look as a continued chain without interruption.

Round 24-27: sl st in each st to end of round.

Bag Handles (make 2)

The bag handles are crocheted with B. The following tutorial shows you how to make them.
The second tutorial shows you how to attach the first lobster clasp to the first stich. You have to follow the same to attach the second one to the second end.
To attach lobster clasp you have to begin like shown in the following pictures.

Attach zipper to the back loop of each st of the round 24 with hand sewing.
